Roy Brown
Roy Brown is 35 years old and has a small but growing practice as a physical therapist. Like most young professionals, Roy is mostly concerned with the demands of serving his growing list of patients. He has neither the inclination to take care of his IT needs himself, nor the budget for a full time IT professional. He uses proprietary patient and practice management software if he can afford it. Otherwise he looks for other options, such as out of box office suites and accounting software, or a custom software solution.
Problem:
Roy spends most of his time filling out paperwork for insurance companies and typing up patient evaluations and progress reports. Furthermore, he has several software programs he works with that don't integrate well with one another. Roy has to get his patient management system under control so he can spend more time with his patients.
Solution:
We set Roy up with a speech-to-text solution in his word processor. He speaks and the computer does the typing. It works with all the forms he uses and saves him a great deal of time. We created a client/server network and made use of his office suite software bundle to create a patient management system that works. Data is centralized and secured and backed up efficiently. His office staff can get to patient records from any workstation and his broadband connection connects him to remote hospital patient databases as well. Computer Keys provides creative solutions to complex problems that increase productivity in professional office environments.
